  After passing the US Naturalization Test, you still need to update your Lawful Permanent Resident status to US Citizen. This is not automatic. You need to go and update your citizenship status.     As a  US Lawful Permanent residents, you are eligible to apply for Naturalization to become a US Citizenship at the USCIS after 5 years of stay in the US or only after 3 years if your spouse is a US Citizen. Online Application is available to complete and submit the Form N-400.
