         Going abroad especially going to America is a dream come true for most of the Filipinos. Who doesn't want to earn dollars? The value of dollars these days plays around 50 times than Philippine Peso.
         New Life...New Beginning...New Environment!
         It really feels great to be at last you are in the United States of America. So excited and so happy to start a new life but these feelings comes with a great fear and insecurities. Fear that you will not be accepted and insecurities for being different from others, different in color, race and language. Although English is a medium language in school in the Philippines, the accent is still issue haha especially when you have a daughter who will criticize you haha. Nose bleed o sakit sa bangs sabi nga nila :)
         What is like to be in America? Totoo na maganda o masarap ang buhay sa America dahil nakakahawak ka na ng dolyar at natutulungan mo family mo sa Pilipinas....Pero hindi alam ng marami na Napakahirap din ng buhay...Tiis tiis lang, tyaga tyaga lang at madalas iyak na lang...

    As a  US Lawful Permanent residents, you are eligible to apply for Naturalization to become a US Citizenship at the USCIS after 5 years of stay in the US or only after 3 years if your spouse is a US Citizen. Online Application is available to complete and submit the Form N-400. What makes life In the United States of America better and so hard.

Living in the United States of America is better for me in terms of status in life. I will first mention good things about the US according to my experience. Here in the US, the value of money is higher. You get to buy things or foods which are considered expensive in the Philippines. You can enter Restaurant, shopping malls and casinos with just wearing shorts or casual attire. No one cares whatever you wear unlike in the Philippines. I never entered a casino or a Casino Resort in the Philippines. It feels like only the rick people go there and I think you have to wear something semi-casual or business attire. Not sure. I just heard it with some friends. In the Philippines, it feels like foreigners are richer and have better lives than me. But when I get to the US, I work with other race especially with the Americans, Mexicans, Vietnamese and we are just on the same level. What a nice feeling hahaha.
